Shabby Chic

I just read Rachel Ashwell’s blog from Shabby Chic.  What a sad but beautiful post.  I have always loved her designs and was saddened to see her stores have all closed.  I still miss my little store some days but something else is more important right now and that is family.  There will be time to create lovelies and perhaps have a shop again.   It’s time to prioritze and spend time on purposeful adventures.

Where did the time go?

OK, seriously where did the last month go?  Between the fieldtrips, carnivals, assemblies, field days, and class parties the month was a blur.  Are you ready for summer?  Only two days of school left and mine will all be home.  New sand in the sandbox… check, new and fun flavors of syrup for the snowcone machine… check, new 3D sidewalk chalk… check,  new outdoor toys… check.  Looks like we are ready for the festivities to begin.  Bring on the sunshine add the kids and of course the slip and slide and we are ready!

Look for our summer kick off sale starting Saturday May 30.  Lots of adorable things at a really affordable price.  Now what could be better than that?
